The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 159%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2021, and then fell remarkably in the following year.

Slovenia (X tons) was the main destination for onion and shallot exports from Croatia, with a 56% share of total exports. Moreover, onion and shallot exports to Slovenia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons), threefold.
