The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average export price increased by 33% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, imports of polyethylene glycols and polyethers in primary forms into Croatia surged to X tons, growing by 24% on the previous year. In general, imports recorded moderate growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 148% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, polyethylene glycol and polyether imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a remarkable increase.
