Overall, total exports indicated a pronounced expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +82.0% against 2014 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 28% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, preserved cows meat exports rose significantly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.1% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +73.9% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 24% against the previous year. These countries were followed by Switzerland, Sweden, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Italy, Australia and Hungary, which together accounted for a further 49%.
