Over the period under review, total exports indicated noticeable growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +39.7% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when exports increased by 42%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Turkey (X units), Italy (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of pressure-reducing iron valve exports from Croatia, with a combined 54% share of total exports. The UK, France, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 40%.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Serbia (with a CAGR of +23.3%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
