Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, pump for liquid exports reduced to $X in 2021. In general, total exports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +8.2% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, exports increased by +81.9% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 49% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2020, and then fell in the following year.

Slovenia (X units) was the main destination for pump for liquid exports from Croatia, accounting for a 32% share of total exports. Moreover, pump for liquid exports to Slovenia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Bosnia and Herzegovina (X units), twofold. Italy (X units) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 13% share.

Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 76%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, pump for liquid imports surged to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Imports by Country

China (X units), Italy (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of pump for liquid imports to Croatia, together comprising 64% of total imports. These countries were followed by Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria and Spain, which together accounted for a further 27%.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per unit), while the price for China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
