Slovenia (X units) was the main destination for sleeping bag exports from Croatia, with a 64% share of total exports. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Slovenia stood at +46.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Bosnia and Herzegovina (+20.3% per year) and Montenegro (+193.5% per year).

In 2021, the average sleeping bag export price amounted to $X per unit, rising by 49% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a modest increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Imports into Croatia
In 2021, imports of sleeping bags into Croatia shrank slightly to X units, approximately reflecting the previous year. Overall, imports, however, posted notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 82%. Imports peaked at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Italy (X units), Germany (X units) and Slovenia (X units) were the main suppliers of sleeping bag imports to Croatia, with a combined 69% share of total imports. These countries were followed by China, Poland, Austria, Spain and the Netherlands, which together accounted for a further 25%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +59.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
