Switzerland, with a CAGR of +99.0%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average mango and mangosteen export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, growing by 6.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, mango and mangosteen export price increased by +58.5% against 2018 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 62%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

Imports into Cote d'Ivoire
In 2022, the amount of mangoes, mangosteens and guavas imported into Cote d'Ivoire dropped rapidly to X tons, waning by -23% compared with the year before. Overall, imports continue to indicate a sharp setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 265%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, mango and mangosteen imports fell significantly to $X in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a sharp decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 221% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Ghana (X tons), Burkina Faso (X tons) and Senegal (X tons) were the main suppliers of mango and mangosteen imports to Cote d'Ivoire, with a combined 84% share of total imports. Mali and India lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 16%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by India (with a CAGR of +9.9%), while imports for the other leaders experienced a decline.
