Mannequin Market Size in Cuba

The Cuban mannequin market reduced notably to $X in 2021, with a decrease of -43% against the previous year. Imports into Cuba

For the third year in a row, Cuba recorded decline in overseas purchases of mannequins, which decreased by -54.5% to X tons in 2021. Overall, imports showed a dramatic setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 109% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, mannequin imports declined dramatically to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports faced a sharp slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 28% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X tons) constituted the largest mannequin supplier to Cuba, with a 62% share of total imports. Moreover, mannequin imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, France (X kg), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Belgium (X kg), with a 12% share.
