The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when exports increased by 19% against the previous year. In value terms, animal feed exports rose to $X in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +7.3% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 19%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Slovakia (X tons) was the main destination for animal feed exports from the Czech Republic, with a 63% share of total exports. Moreover, animal feed exports to Slovakia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Hungary (X tons), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Germany (X tons), with a 5.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Slovakia was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Hungary (+33.7% per year) and Germany (+15.3% per year).
