For the third year in a row, the Czech circuit breaker market recorded decline in sales value, which decreased by -4.7% to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, consumption, however, enjoyed a slight increase. As a result, consumption attained the peak level of $X. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the market remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, approx. X units of automatic circuit breakers were exported from the Czech Republic; increasing by 47% on 2021 figures. Overall, exports posted strong growth. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Germany amounted to +10.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Italy (+35.1% per year) and the United States (+16.4% per year).

In 2022, the average circuit breaker export price amounted to $X per unit, with a decrease of -8.6% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a tangible increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, circuit breaker export price decreased by -9.3% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 29% against the previous year. Imports into the Czech Republic

In 2022, approx. X units of automatic circuit breakers were imported into the Czech Republic; growing by 13% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when imports increased by 62%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, circuit breaker imports rose markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 42% against the previous year.
