The second position in the ranking was held by Hungary ($X), with an 8.9% share of total exports. It was followed by China, with a 7.9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Germany stood at +10.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Hungary (+40.5% per year) and China (+11.8% per year).

Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt contraction. Imports into the Czech Republic
For the third consecutive year, the Czech Republic recorded growth in supplies from abroad of check valves for pipes, boiler shells, tanks and vats, which increased by 93% to X units in 2021. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a resilient expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, check valve imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.4% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of check valve to the Czech Republic, with a 39% share of total imports. Moreover, check valve imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X units), twofold. Poland (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 7.6% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from China stood at +17.7%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Germany (+6.5% per year) and Poland (+11.3% per year).
In value terms, Germany ($X) constituted the largest supplier of check valves for pipes, boiler shells, tanks and vats to the Czech Republic, comprising 31% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Morocco ($X), with a 7.9% share of total imports. It was followed by China, with a 7.8% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from Germany amounted to +5.2%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Morocco (+9.1% per year) and China (+4.5% per year).

The average check valve import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, reducing by -33.1% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a noticeable decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 37%. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per unit), while the price for China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+8.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
