The export price peaked at $X per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Croatia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2021, imports of doors and their frames and thresholds of wood into the Czech Republic surged to X units, rising by 26% on the previous year. In general, imports showed a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 32%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, wooden door imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports saw a remarkable increase. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Poland amounted to +15.9%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Germany (+3.9% per year) and Ukraine (+20.8% per year).

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($X per unit), while the price for Slovakia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
