Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 60% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, diagnostic equipment imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports posted a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 45%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

Germany (X units), Belgium (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) were the main suppliers of diagnostic equipment imports to the Czech Republic.
