Poland (X tons) was the main destination for feldspar exports from the Czech Republic, accounting for a 81% share of total exports. Moreover, feldspar exports to Poland exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Germany (X tons), sevenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Slovakia (X tons), with a 2.9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume to Poland amounted to +4.1%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+6.0% per year) and Slovakia (+6.3% per year).
In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the key foreign market for feldspar exports from the Czech Republic, comprising 65% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($X), with a 20% share of total exports. It was followed by Hungary, with a 3.3% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Poland was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+8.9% per year) and Hungary (-5.5% per year).

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in supplies from abroad of feldspar, when their volume increased by 18% to X tons. Overall, imports posted notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 61%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, feldspar imports surged to $X in 2021. In general, total imports indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -29.5% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 54% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Germany (X tons) was the main supplier of feldspar to the Czech Republic, accounting for a 96% share of total imports. It was followed by Turkey (X tons), with a 2.4% share of total imports.
