The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 44%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of the exports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, exports of flexible tubes, pipes and hoses of plastics, with a burst pressure ≥ X MPa skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a temperate increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by 87% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Slovakia (X tons) was the main destination for exports of flexible tubes, pipes and hoses of plastics, with a burst pressure ≥ X MPa from the Czech Republic, accounting for a 37% share of total exports. Moreover, exports of flexible tubes, pipes and hoses of plastics, with a burst pressure ≥ X MPa to Slovakia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Lithuania (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was held by Germany (X tons), with a 13% share.
