The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +3.4% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 20% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

In 2022, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest glass in the mass supplier to the Czech Republic, accounting for a 47% share of total imports. Moreover, glass in the mass imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Hungary (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Poland (X tons), with a 17% share.
