Poland (X tons) was the main destination for millet exports from the Czech Republic, accounting for a 29% share of total exports. In value terms, Poland ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for millet exports from the Czech Republic, comprising 28% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Austria ($X), with a 12% share of total exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 12% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Poland amounted to +15.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Austria (+5.5% per year) and Germany (+0.4% per year).

In 2022, the average millet export price amounted to $X per ton, stabilizing at the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 42%. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2022, approx. X tons of millet were imported into the Czech Republic; jumping by 101% on the previous year's figure. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 143%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average import price increased by 61% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
