Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-electric industrial furnace exports contracted significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by 296% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Slovakia (X units), Poland (X units) and France (X units) were the main destinations of non-electric industrial furnace exports from the Czech Republic, together accounting for 57% of total exports. These countries were followed by Sweden, Russia, Germany, the UK and Switzerland, which together accounted for a further 36%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Sweden (with a CAGR of +108.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for non-electric industrial furnace exported from the Czech Republic were Poland ($X), Slovakia ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined 52% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Russia, Sweden, the UK, France and Switzerland, which together accounted for a further 34%.

In general, the export price, however, enjoyed measured growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 224% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to France ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belarus (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
After three years of decline, purchases abroad of non-electric industrial or laboratory furnaces and ovens increased by 93% to X units in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a perceptible downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 115% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, non-electric industrial furnace imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 99% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Italy (X units), Germany (X units) and Austria (X units) were the main suppliers of non-electric industrial furnace imports to the Czech Republic, together accounting for 90% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Austria (with a CAGR of +78.4%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
