Over the period under review, imports, however, posted strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 46% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X square meters, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, imports of non-PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings fell slightly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 47% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then declined slightly in the following year.

In 2022, China (X square meters) constituted the largest supplier of non-PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings to the Czech Republic, accounting for a 60% share of total imports.
