The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Germany (X tons), Slovakia (X tons) and Austria (X tons) were the main destinations of boiler parts exports from the Czech Republic, together comprising 71% of total exports. These countries were followed by Poland, Romania, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland and Ukraine, which together accounted for a further 22%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of +23.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, export price indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.6% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, boiler parts export price increased by +37.9% against 2019 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+11.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2021, purchases abroad of parts of boilers for central heating decreased by -25.4% to X tons, falling for the third consecutive year after two years of growth. In general, imports saw a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 107%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, boiler parts imports amounted to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 21% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Germany (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Italy (X tons) were the main suppliers of boiler parts imports to the Czech Republic, with a combined 69% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Ukraine, Austria, Slovakia and Belgium, which together accounted for a further 23%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Ukraine (with a CAGR of +130.6%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X), Italy ($X) and Poland ($X) were the largest boiler parts suppliers to the Czech Republic, together accounting for 72% of total imports. Slovakia, Belgium, Ukraine and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 15%.
