Germany (X square meters), the Netherlands (X square meters) and Belgium (X square meters) were the main destinations of photographic film exports from the Czech Republic, together accounting for 65% of total exports. France, Poland, the United States, Russia, Hungary, Slovakia, China, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 23%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Switzerland (with a CAGR of +40.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the key foreign market for photographic plates and film, photographic paper, paperboard and textiles and instant print film, sensitized, unexposed exports from the Czech Republic, comprising 37% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Netherlands ($X), with a 13% share of total exports. It was followed by Belgium, with a 12% share.

In 2021, approx. X square meters of photographic plates and film, photographic paper, paperboard and textiles and instant print film, sensitized, unexposed were imported into the Czech Republic; picking up by 11% on the year before. In general, imports, however, recorded a slight curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 22%. Imports peaked at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, photographic film imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 17% against the previous year. Imports by Country
Poland (X square meters), the Netherlands (X square meters) and Germany (X square meters) were the main suppliers of photographic film imports to the Czech Republic, with a combined 71% share of total imports. These countries were followed by China, Belgium, Brazil, Hungary, Japan and Spain, which together accounted for a further 25%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Brazil (with a CAGR of +208.8%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
