Germany (X units), France (X units) and Austria (X units) were the main destinations of plastic doors and windows exports from the Czech Republic, together accounting for 65% of total exports. Switzerland, Slovakia, Italy and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 27%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Italy (with a CAGR of +9.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas purchases of plastic doors, windows and their frames increased by 37% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after two years of decline. Overall, imports, however, recorded a pronounced shrinkage. Imports peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Poland (X units) constituted the largest supplier of plastic doors and windows to the Czech Republic, accounting for a 57% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic doors and windows imports from Poland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X units), threefold. Slovakia (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with an 8.1% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from Poland totaled -3.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Germany (+8.5% per year) and Slovakia (-7.1% per year).
