Overall, exports, however, recorded buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 61% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.

In value terms, polycarbonate exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 116% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Germany (X tons), Slovakia (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main destinations of polycarbonate exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined 76% share of total exports.
