For the third year in a row, the Czech sunflower seed market recorded growth in sales value, which increased by 7.2% to $X in 2022. In value terms, sunflower seed exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X tons), Austria (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main destinations of sunflower seed exports from the Czech Republic, together accounting for 74% of total exports. Hungary, Denmark, Poland and Slovakia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.
