From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, aircraft tyre exports declined to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports saw a abrupt decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 77%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Russia (X units), Bulgaria (X units) and Hungary (X units) were the main destinations of aircraft tyre exports from the Czech Republic, with a combined 34% share of total exports. These countries were followed by France, the UK, Uganda, Tunisia, the United States, Sweden, Slovenia, Estonia, Denmark and Slovakia, which together accounted for a further 49%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Denmark (with a CAGR of +38.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Denmark, with a CAGR of +76.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average aircraft tyre export price amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 74% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 101%. The export price peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Tunisia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+41.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
For the third consecutive year, the Czech Republic recorded decline in supplies from abroad of tyres for aircraft, which decreased by -8.6% to X units in 2021. In general, imports recorded a abrupt decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 109% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, aircraft tyre imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a noticeable slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 201% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
The UK (X units), the Netherlands (X units) and Slovenia (X units) were the main suppliers of aircraft tyre imports to the Czech Republic, with a combined 73% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by the UK (with a CAGR of +20.2%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the UK ($X) constituted the largest supplier of tyres for aircraft to the Czech Republic, comprising 40% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Netherlands ($X), with a 16% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 14% share.

Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum in 2021 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the price for Slovenia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
