Over the period under review, total exports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +10.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 50%. There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+10.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Czech Republic
In 2021, wooden window imports into the Czech Republic stood at X tons, with an increase of 8.5% against the previous year's figure. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 16% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, wooden window imports soared to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.4% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Slovakia (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of wooden window imports to the Czech Republic, with a combined 87% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Slovakia (with a CAGR of +35.3%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Poland ($X), Slovakia ($X) and Hungary ($X) were the largest wooden window suppliers to the Czech Republic, together accounting for 79% of total imports.
