In value terms, benzol, toluol and xylol imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed a mild curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 398%. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest benzol, toluol and xylol supplier to Denmark, accounting for a 78% share of total imports. Moreover, benzol, toluol and xylol imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X tons), sevenfold. Poland (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 5.1% share.
