Dairy Machinery Market Size in Denmark

After three years of decline, the Danish dairy machinery market increased by 33% to $X in 2022. In general, consumption, however, showed a pronounced slump. Dairy machinery consumption peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

China (X units), Norway (X units) and Chile (X units) were the main destinations of dairy machinery exports from Denmark, together comprising 39% of total exports. Ireland, the UK, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, France, Brazil, New Zealand, Hungary and Japan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 39%.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Hungary (with a CAGR of +68.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Denmark

In 2022, imports of dairy machinery into Denmark reduced dramatically to X units, dropping by -58% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports saw a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 369% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
