The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 48% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

Germany (X units) was the main destination for plastic furniture exports from Denmark, accounting for a 41% share of total exports. Moreover, plastic furniture exports to Germany exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Sweden (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by France (X units), with an 8.2% share.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest plastic furniture supplier to Denmark, accounting for a 42% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic furniture imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Israel (X units), threefold.
