There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Norway (+9.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into Denmark
In 2021, imports of insecticides into Denmark reduced rapidly to X tons, with a decrease of -19.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports recorded a perceptible setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 37% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, insecticide imports shrank to $X in 2021. Overall, imports saw a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 57%. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

The Netherlands (X tons), France (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of insecticide imports to Denmark, with a combined 66% share of total imports. Belgium, Sweden, Italy, Spain and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 24%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +71.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
