In 2021, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas purchases of parts of boilers for central heating, when their volume increased by 85% to X tons. In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, boiler parts imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a mild expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.3% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +78.3% against 2019 indices. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Poland (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of boiler parts imports to Denmark, together comprising 64% of total imports. The Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Austria, France, Bulgaria and Turkey lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 32%.
