The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Germany (X litres), Norway (X litres) and Sweden (X litres) were the main destinations of exports of spirits, liqueurs and other spirituous beverages from Denmark, with a combined 73% share of total exports. Finland, Greenland, the Netherlands, Estonia, Poland, Iceland and Faroe Islands lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 20%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Poland (with a CAGR of +23.0%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X), Sweden ($X) and Norway ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for spirits, liqueurs and other spirituous beverages exported from Denmark worldwide, with a combined 70% share of total exports. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Imports into Denmark
In 2022, imports of spirits, liqueurs and other spirituous beverages into Denmark reduced remarkably to X litres, waning by -21% on the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 56% against the previous year.
