In value terms, ceramic statuette imports soared to $X in 2022. In general, imports showed a strong expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 80% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of ceramic statuette to the Dominican Republic, with a 40% share of total imports. Moreover, ceramic statuette imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Vietnam (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Brazil (X tons), with a 13% share.
