Antibiotic Market Size in Eastern Asia

The East Asian antibiotic market fell modestly to $X in 2021, which is down by -3.1% against the previous year. In general, consumption, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, consumption remained at a lower figure.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the import price increased by 27%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was China ($X per ton), while Taiwan (Chinese) ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
