From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to breathing appliances exports from China stood at +1.0%. At the same time, Taiwan (Chinese) (+4.4%), South Korea (+2.7%) and Japan (+2.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, China ($X), Taiwan (Chinese) ($X) and South Korea ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 86% share of total exports.

Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +10.4%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

In 2022, the export price in Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -7.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 27% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
