The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when imports increased by 36% against the previous year. In Japan, currant and gooseberry imports contracted by an average annual rate of -9.8% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Hong Kong SAR (+25.2% per year) and Macao SAR (+29.2% per year).
