The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In value terms, China ($X), Taiwan (Chinese) ($X) and South Korea ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 99% share of total exports.

Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +6.8%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

Export Prices by Country

In 2021, the export price in Eastern Asia amounted to $X per unit, leveling off at the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 42% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per unit), while China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-1.2%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, agricultural product dryer imports in Eastern Asia soared to X units, picking up by 90% compared with 2020. Overall, imports posted a resilient expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 163% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
