Moreover, Taiwan (Chinese) emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of +13.4% from 2012-2022. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, electric water heater imports contracted to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 51%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.
