In 2022, the East Asian peanut butter market decreased by -6% to $X, falling for the second year in a row after three years of growth. Overall, consumption, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of consumption peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the import price increased by 9.6% against the previous year.
