Over the period under review, imports saw significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 1,757% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, recovered fibre pulp imports soared to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 1,203%. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
