In value terms, sheepskin and lambskin exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 307% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Hong Kong SAR (X tons) and China (X tons) prevails in exports structure, together achieving 98% of total exports. South Korea (X kg) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In value terms, sheepskin and lambskin imports dropped modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 29% against the previous year.
