In general, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, carbon for electrical purposes imports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 10% against the previous year.
