As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, artificial corundum exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The shipments of the three major exporters of artificial corundum, namely Russia, Hungary and Ukraine, represented more than two-thirds of total export. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 17%. The level of import peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
