The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by 20% against the previous year. The second position in the ranking was held by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 24% share of total exports. It was followed by Russia, with a 5.6% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Poland totaled +8.4%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Czech Republic (+24.4% per year) and Russia (+5.1% per year).

In value terms, imports of beauty, make-up and skin care preparations reduced modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports saw a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 22%. The import price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2022, waning by -3.7% against the previous year. Import price indicated a moderate increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for beauty, make-up and skin care preparations increased by +69.8% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the import price increased by 19%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2021, and then fell slightly in the following year.
