The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X units in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, book and brochure exports declined to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when exports increased by 44%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

In 2022, Poland (X units), distantly followed by the Czech Republic (X units), Slovakia (X units), Latvia (X units) and Lithuania (X units) represented the key exporters of books, brochures and similar printed matter, together creating 84% of total exports. Hungary (X units), Russia (X units) and Estonia (X units) held a relatively small share of total exports.

It was distantly followed by the Czech Republic (X units), Romania (X units), Russia (X units), Slovakia (X units) and Hungary (X units), together committing a 49% share of total imports. The following importers - Ukraine (X units) and Latvia (X units) - each resulted at a 4.6% share of total imports.

Poland was also the fastest-growing in terms of the books, brochures and similar printed matter imports, with a CAGR of +7.4% from 2012 to 2022.
