In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 an increase of 291% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2020 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per unit), while the Czech Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported broaching machines for working metal in Eastern Europe, comprising 50% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Hungary ($X), with a 6.2% share of total imports. It was followed by Slovakia, with a 4.8% share.

In Russia, metal broaching machine imports shrank by an average annual rate of -13.5% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Hungary (+16.9% per year) and Slovakia (-23.4% per year).
