In value terms, appliance part brush exports dropped to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted strong growth. From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to appliance part brush exports from Poland stood at +12.7%. At the same time, Slovakia (+15.5%), Belarus (+12.4%), Russia (+9.9%), Lithuania (+4.4%), Estonia (+3.6%) and the Czech Republic (+2.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Slovakia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +15.5% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Romania (-1.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest appliance part brush supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 40% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 14% share of total exports. It was followed by Estonia, with an 8.9% share.

In 2022, appliance part brush imports in Eastern Europe declined significantly to X units, waning by -21% on 2021 figures. Total imports indicated a perceptible increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 83% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, appliance part brush imports fell significantly to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the last decade. The Czech Republic (X units), Romania (X units) and Ukraine (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to appliance part brush imports into Russia stood at +3.1%. At the same time, Belarus (+14.9%), Poland (+14.1%), Romania (+4.5%) and the Czech Republic (+4.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +14.9% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Ukraine (-5.4%) and Hungary (-6.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Poland (+7.9 p.p.) and Belarus (+5.4 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Ukraine, Russia and Hungary saw its share reduced by -4.6%, -4.8% and -7.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported brushes constituting parts of appliances in Eastern Europe, comprising 43% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Poland ($X), with a 20% share of total imports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with an 8.6% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Russia was relatively modest. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Poland (+13.8% per year) and the Czech Republic (+4.5% per year).
