Hungary, with a CAGR of +5.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline in the exports figures.
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per unit, dropping by -23.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a perceptible decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 38% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2020 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per unit), while Slovakia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+16.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in Eastern Europe
In 2021, overseas purchases of cabinets and cases for transmission and reception apparatus increased by 12% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a slight slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 37% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, receivers and transmitters case imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a slight increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 54% against the previous year. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per unit), while Russia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
