The yield figure increased at an average annual rate of +1.5% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. In value terms, cauliflower and broccoli exports shrank to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a mild reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 33% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Poland dominates exports structure, reaching X tons, which was near 76% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by the Czech Republic (X tons), mixing up a 9.3% share of total exports. The following exporters - Latvia (X tons), Russia (X tons), Belarus (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons) - together made up 13% of total exports.

Poland experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of cauliflower and broccoli. At the same time, Russia (+49.2%), Belarus (+18.3%) and Latvia (+10.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Russia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +49.2% from 2012-2022. By contrast, the Czech Republic (-4.2%) and Lithuania (-26.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest cauliflower and broccoli supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 74% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Czech Republic ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Latvia, with a 5.6% share.

In Poland, cauliflower and broccoli exports expanded at an average annual rate of +3.2% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Czech Republic (-1.7% per year) and Latvia (+14.0% per year).

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2022, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. Export price indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the last decade. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 16%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
