Romania (+12 p.p.) and Russia (+7.9 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the Czech Republic and Poland saw its share reduced by -7.6% and -13.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest polystyrene cellular plates, sheets and films supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 42% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Romania ($X), with a 12% share of total exports. It was followed by Hungary, with an 11% share.
